OUR APPROACH TO JEDI
Our mission is to Ignite the mojo in every body, rooted in nature’s most potent and nutritious ingredients. We believe that diverse perspectives, fair opportunities and an inclusive culture help us get there.
At MOJU, JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) is part of how we build our business. It shapes how we make decisions, how we treat people and how we create the conditions for great work. We are committed to operating in a just, equitable, and inclusive way in our operations, for our customers, and in the communities we impact. While we actively appreciate and value diversity throughout.
Our commitments:
- We will always aim for transparency with the CRU - actively communicating the decisions that affect everyone, creating a culture where people feel comfortable to be themselves, to ask questions and challenge, including regular Q&As with the leadership team
- We will actively work to create a more inclusive workplace by understanding our privileges and barriers and increase support to those who need it to make our workplace more equitable.
- We will use data and stakeholder feedback to understand inequities, guide actions and to ensure fair access to opportunities, pay and support for everyone in the CRU.
- We will seek diverse talent in our hiring practices, learn to remove bias from the process and work to attract more diverse talent into FMCG through programmes with people about to enter the world of work. We will be transparent about our progress.
- Our JEDI work is not a standalone initiative, it is part of our culture and values and therefore overseen by the Founders and COO, who are also accountable for the commitments. Progress will be shared in our annual Mission Progress Reports.
