HOW DO I GET MY FREE SHOT GLASS?

HOW DO I REDEEM A FREE GINGER SHOT FROM TESCO?

DELIVERY

CAN I GET FREE DELIVERY?

Delivery to UK addresses is free when you spend £35 or £30 when you start a subscription. Otherwise, we charge a £4.95 delivery fee.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

We deliver to most of the UK. But due to current carrier restrictions we don't deliver to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle or Wight or the Scottish Highlands & Islands.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

We only deliver Tuesday to Friday. If you order before 12pm Monday to Thursday, your delivery should be with you within 48 hours. Due to current courier restrictions, if you order after 12pm Thursday your delivery should be with you the following Tuesday.

If you are awaiting an order, you can track it through our courier’s (DPD) portal. Please look out for any email, containing delivery and tracking information.

WHAT IF I MISS MY DELIVERY?

If you're not in to sign for your delivery, the courier will normally leave the parcel in the most obvious safe place. Please make sure you tell the courier using the ‘change my delivery now’ link if you have a preferred safe place.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

Our products are perishable so we don't accept returns, but if you have a problem with your order please contact us at aloha@mojudrinks.com.

PRODUCTION

WHAT DOES COLD PRESSING ACTUALLY MEAN

Our ingredients are pressed and bottled in small batches in our commitment to deliver the best quality product we possibly can.We use a giant, slow press (like in olive oil production) to extract as much of the flavour and nutrients from the whole & fresh ingredients as possible. It’s much more of a labour of love than using loads of heat pasteurised purees and pulps, but we think it’s worth the hassle

WHAT IS HPP?

We want to lock in as much of the flavour and freshness of our ingredients as possible, so we use an innovative technology called High Pressure Processing (HPP) that uses pressure instead of heat to make sure that when they reach you our shots are safe to drink and taste as fresh as when they were first pressed.This is why we never use preservatives, add sugar or sweeteners or use anything artificial for that matter.

WHAT’S IN A MOJU SHOT?

Our aim for every one of our products is to deliver a fresh hit of flavour you can’t experience anywhere else. Each shot offers a powerful blend of fresh pressed ingredients, including natural ingredients in their whole form, like a big dose of our Super Roots (Ginger & Turmeric) in every shot. All our products are crafted to give people a kickstart, whilst supporting their overall health and wellbeing.

WHY DO YOU USE SUPER ROOTS IN ALL YOUR PRODUCTS?

All our products contain our hand selected fresh root ginger and/ or turmeric. As fresh and naturally effective ingredients containing numerous bioactive compounds, they’ve both been used in cultures around the world for centuries and have been the subject of 100s of clinical research studies exploring their potential health benefits.

DO MOJU PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY PRESERVATIVES, COLOURS AND FLAVOURINGS?

Nope. We don’t use preservatives. Our shots don’t contain any colours of flavourings, nature does all the hard work for us, and better than any human in a lab could do. 

DO YOU ADD SUGAR OR SWEETENERS?

We never add sugar or sweeteners. Our shots only contain the natural sugars from the fresh-pressed ingredients.

ARE MOJU SHOTS LOW IN NATURAL SUGAR?

For each 60ml serving, our shots* contain less than half the natural sugar you would find in a small flat white, or an apple.

ARE MOJU SHOTS CAFFEINE FREE?

Yes, all MOJU shots offer a naturally caffeine-free kick, so next time you’re debating whether to have that 3rd cup of coffee in the day, a MOJU could help you power through the day

WHAT IS ASCORBIC ACID AND WHY IS IT IN YOUR PRODUCTS?

Vitamin C is also known as Ascorbic Acid. We add a trace amount as a processing aid to our apple juice to prevent oxidation and a slight discolouration to the final product. If you see vitamin C on our label it's derived from whole natural ingredients, not from added Ascorbic Acid.

WHY IS THERE SEDIMENT IN THE BOTTOM OF MY BOTTLE?

That’s just nature doing its thing! Because we cold-press and don’t use heat to preserve our products - your shot separates naturally. The sediment you see in your product are some of the natural fibres and starches in our Super Roots and other ingredients. Make sure to give the bottle a good shake before shooting your shot!

CONSUMPTION

HOW MANY SHOTS CAN I DRINK A DAY?

In the office we drink multiple shots a day, depending on how we are feeling, but it completely depends on the person - if you have any queries or questions about introducing anything new to your routine please consult your doctor. Each of our dosing bottles provide 7+ Daily Shots Per Bottle (daily = serving suggestion).

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE A MOJU SHOT?

When you take the shots is completely up to you. We often love kick-starting the morning with a fiery Ginger shot, but our shots can also be shotted throughout the day. Whether you need a caffeine-free pick me up in the afternoon or a Turmeric shot to support your post workout recovery, MOJU provides a healthy daily ritual whenever you need it most. 

DO I NEED TO KEEP MY MOJU IN THE FRIDGE?

Our shots are perishable and need to be kept refrigerated, please keep chilled between 0-5°C.

HOW LONG WILL MY SHOTS LAST ONCE OPENED?

Our dosing bottles should be consumed within 10 days of opening. Just make sure to keep them in the fridge.

IS MOJU SUITABLE FOR FREEZING?

All our dosing bottles are suitable and safe for home freezing. Please freeze before the product is due to expire, defrost in the fridge within 6 months of purchase, and drink within 7 days of product fully defrosting. On the rare occasion, freezing may result in a slight change of appearance but please be assured they are still safe to enjoy as part of your MOJU routine.

ARE MOJU SHOTS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

If you have any concerns about adding MOJU into your children’s diet, we’d recommend consulting your doctor about the best course of action.

IS IT SAFE TO DRINK MOJU WHEN PREGNANT?

If you have any concerns about your diet & introducing new foods during pregnancy please consult your doctor about the best course of action for your needs.

I’M TAKING MEDICATION, CAN I DRINK MOJU?

PACKAGING

HOW SUSTAINABLE ARE MOJU BOTTLES?

Our bottles are made from PET which is 100% recyclable and is widely recycled. We use 50% post-consumer recycled material in our bottles, and we are working on further increasing the amount of recycled material.Our bottles are widely recycled from your household waste or street bins. The lid is attached to ensure it’s recycled along with the bottle.

WHY DO YOU USE PLASTIC BOTTLES INSTEAD OF GLASS?

We are mindful of the packaging we choose for our products. We prioritise the freshness and quality of products so use HPP (High Pressure Processing), which because it involves extreme cold pressure means the packaging needs to be flexible. This makes PET the right material for us right now.It also has the positive benefit of being light and less energy intensive to transport and recycle than glass, which is important when considering our carbon footprint.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THE DELIVERY PACKAGING IN MY ORDER?

Our delivery packaging is made from 100% recycled and fully recyclable card. Our insulation liners are made from old magazine/ newspaper shreds, and our ice packs are made from recyclable plastic and water.

WHY DOESN'T MOJU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER?

We're a small team without a call centre, so we're not set up to handle high volumes of phone calls. We promise to respond to any queries within the timeframes set out above.
