CLIMATE ACTION PLAN

Introduction

Nature powers our products, so we’re doing our bit to protect it.

When nature thrives, so do we. But as a scale up company, our impact on the planet will continue to grow. That’s the reality of making and moving physical products. It means every choice we make now carries more weight. That is why we have put together this Climate Action plan.

Carbon footprint and 1.5°C aligned commitment

MOJU supports the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our priority is to reduce absolute emissions wherever possible, rather than relying on offsetting.

We recognise science-based pathways. While our targets are intensity based now, we expect our targets to strengthen over time aligned with SBTi as our supply chain matures.

Like most product-led businesses, the bulk of our emissions sit in Scope 3. For us, that means the biggest impacts come from what goes into every bottle — especially ingredients and packaging — and how our products are made and moved.

Reducing total emissions while scaling fast is challenging. But we can reduce our carbon intensity: the emissions linked to each bottle we produce. That means that even if our total footprint grows as we make more products, we are working to bring down the impact of every individual bottle over time. In this way, every change we make has a positive impact.

Our baseline is FY24, when our emission intensity was 7.74 tCO2e/litre total footprint, of which 99% is Scope 3, primarily packaging and ingredients.

We aim to cut emissions intensity by 20% by 2030 and 35% by 2035 from the above baseline

  • Target for 2030: 20%
  • Target for 2030: 35%

This is a gradual trajectory. In the near term, we will focus on building better understanding, stronger data, and greater capability across our supply chain. We expect reductions to accelerate after 2030, as bigger interventions become possible and more scalable. We'd also welcome you to read MOJU's full decarbonisation plan.

Resources for implementation

We have a Supply, Operations and Impact Director who leads all our sustainability initiatives. They are part of the Senior Leadership team and report to the COO.

They work together with the Project Manager and the Technical Manager to implement sustainability initiatives as per above. Our Financial Controller supports with the data needed to measure our Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon footprint.

In FY26, we funded solar panels at our manufacturing site and supported the conversion of all fuel used by our 3PL for MOJU products to HVO, a vegetable oil-derived alternative to diesel.

We are committed to continuing to fund carbon measurement work and prioritising the most effective carbon reduction initiatives across our supply chain. We also work with a reputable carbon measurement partner to calculate our footprint and will continue to do so as our business and reporting needs evolve.

MOJU is also a proud member of 1% for the Planet, which means we commit 1% of our revenue to organisations helping protect the environment.

How we will work and engage with stakeholders

Our suppliers are highly engaged in this action plan. In FY26, several carbon reduction initiatives came directly from supplier decarbonisation workshops. They have supplied us with data on their energy use and climate actions and suggested the reduction initiatives that we have already funded – solar panels and HVO conversion.

Our biggest carbon footprint comes from Scope 3 and the ingredients and packaging we have in our products. Our consumers will be consulted on any changes we make to them.

Updates to this plan

This Climate Action plan was approved by the board on 21st July 2026. The Climate Action plan will be updated every 36 months, to be approved at the time by the board of MOJU Ltd.
